SANDEE Launches "The SANDEE Superstar of the Month Award"
Today we are excited to launch the SANDEE Superstar of the Month Award, and with that our first winners.
WHAT IS THE SANDEE SUPERSTAR OF THE MONTH AWARD?
The SANDEE Superstar of the Month Award will be given to one talented young person in the sport of Muay Thai.
SANDEE is looking to support talented Junior Thai Boxers who not only do well in the ring and in competition, but more importantly how well they are doing outside of it, such as school, at home or in their community.
The Superstar of The Month Award will go to boys and girls who train hard but have focus on discipline, respect and understand the importance of having the right attitude and work ethic across all things not just Muay Thai.
SANDEE recognise that along with many other sports, Muay Thai can focus young people in achieving great things inside and outside of the ring and we look to give something back to the grass roots of Muay Thai and support youngsters in their achievements,

Since then she has attended every single lesson, collecting best attendance at their annual awards for three continuous years. In 2013, her home life faced upheaval and with the help of the local council & Telford Thai Boxing, Lauren & her siblings got rehoused with her father.
Lauren has taken part in over 30 inter clubs and several novice fights. In 2013 she became ISKA Southern Area Champion and won her category at the British Open in the same year. Runner Up: Cole Oliver
Fighting out of Peel Scorpions, Cole got diagnosed with dyspraxia when he was 6 years old, but Thai boxing has helped him improve his gross motor skills on an unbelievable scale. As a result, Cole has regained his confidence and gave something to be proud of. He had to change school when he was 7 years old because he needed to attend a speech & language resource, but with this support of Geoff Downes at Peel Scorpions, Cole handled the transition well. Thai boxing has truly changed Cole's life but the dedication from him has been inspirational.
