SCOTTISH MUAY THAI FIGHTER KEITH MCLACHLAN JOINS THE SANDEE PRO FIGHT TEAM.

We are pleased to announce Scottish Muay Thai Fighter Keith "the Fighting Celt" McLachlan, joins our SANDEE PRO FIGHT TEAM.

Glasgow native, McLachlan who fights out of The Griphouse Gym, is currently ranked number one in the UK in the 130lbs (58.967kg)Super Featherweight division.

Like all pro fighters who hail from the Griphouse in Glasgow, McLachlan is a tough aggressive fighter, who always comes to fight and has been known to take extremely tough bouts on very short notice. Keith trains 6 days a week and regularly pushes himself to the limit mentally and physically in pursuit of Muay Thai victories. As well as progressing all the way to the number one position in the UK with his own Muay Thai career under Griphouse Coach Guy Ramsey, McLachlan also trains several young fighters of his own including his two sons Corey (12) and Reece (7).

NEXT FIGHT THE MAIN EVENT

Keith McLachlan's next major Muay Thai Fight takes place on 7th June on the MAIN EVENT, one of the most highly anticipated Muay Thai shows in the Thai Boxing calendar, taking place at the Bolton Arena, Greater Manchester. McLachlan faces Manchester fighter Andrew Lofthouse, which makes it a very difficult for us to know how to root for since Lofthouse is also part of the SANDEE Pro Fight Team.

We therefore wish both fighters the best of luck, and with Muay Thai being the sport that it is both fighters will probably be sharing a drink after a hard fought war in in the ring.

KEEPING IT IN THE FAMILY

With Keith McLachlan joining the SANDEE Pro Fight Team, the McLachlans are making it a family affair. Keith's son, 12 year old Corey McLachlan is a very a talented Muay Thai junior with over 50 competitive fights already and  joins our SANDEE ACADEMY. Corey who is coached by dad Keith and has been training since he can walk, is a future world champion in the making and is sure to follow in his dad's footsteps as he gets older.
