Cleverly certain of Bellew victory

Nathan Cleverly is incensed that he will come out from his rematch with Tony Bellew on November 22nd victorious and throw him back into the circle of contenders waiting in line for a world title shot. Once the fight was confirmed it was announced that the spectacle was to take place at the Liverpool Echo Arena, the setting of their first fight.

The bout comes 3 years after the Welshman Cleverly defeated the Liverpool born Bellew on points and the challenger has had to really prove himself to being considered as a real challenger for a world title. Since his defeat to Cleverly back in 2011, Bellew has gone on to defeat the likes of Issac Chilemba and Edison Miranda, but after his defeat to the Canadian Adonis Stevenson in Quebec, Bellew move up to the Cruiserweight division where he has so far remained undefeated.

The move in division brought the fight with Cleverly into fruition due to him also making the move, and the victor from the last bout believes that he will have no problem sweeping past Bellew,

"He talks too much and although I've beaten him before in front of his home fans, I am going to KO him this time around. He will not hear the final bell, I can guarantee you that. I will deal with him. This is my fifth time in Liverpool, hopefully it's going to be my fifth success. I've been here four times before, victorious four times before, and I'm going to make it five times in a row.”

Bellew however is equally as confident of victory by stating that he will end Cleverly’s career,

"I am in the sport to be successful and win titles but this fight means more to me than any of that - this is personal, and he will not want to enter a boxing ring after I have finished with him."

This is likely to be the last chapter of this bitter rivalry between the pair and with Bellew once again fighting in front of his home crowd, he is sure to step his game up by November. The prize looks like a fight against WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck, from Germany, an opportunity to bring glory to two careers with a somewhat bumpy path.
